July 4th Holiday Updates

We will be closed on Monday, July 4th. However, we will be open all weekend (including Sunday, from 1-7pm) for you to stop by and stock up on beer and wine.

Here are a few much anticipated new arrivals for the holiday weekend:

Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale is back… and just in time because it is the PERFECT 4th of July beer. Red White and Blue… check. In a can for the beach/pool/boat… check. Delicious… double check.

Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale was absent from Gainesville for about 3 weeks due to incredible growth at the brewery. Oskar Blues has pulled out of two markets (thankfully not Florida) while simultaneously expanding the brewery in order to play catch up. We are ending the Dales Pale Ale dry spell at Tipple’s in style with this 6 foot tall beer pyramid of Dales (pyramid has quickly shrank by two feet already). Come by and stock up for the weekend!

Do you have Swamphead in bottles? Yes, we do. Gainesville’s Swamphead Brewery has done its first experimentation with bottling by packaging their Saison du Swamp beer. Their first bottle release is currently enjoying an “A” rating on Beeradvocate.

Swamphead Bottles!

There has been a lot of phone calls waiting for the release of Stone’s Imperial Russian Stout. It took its time creeping its way across the country but it is finally here. We have both the 2011 Stone Imperial Russian Stout and the Belgo Anise Imperial Russian Stout (Belgian yeast with anise spice).

Stone RIS. Age me!!
