New Wine from Argentina and Spain Has Arrived

2009 Allamand H – H, the silent letter of the Spanish alphabet, represents the best wine that Cristian Allamand (a.k.a The Mute) is capable of making using the fruit of vineyards he works every day in Mendoza, Argentina. Armed with his ambition to make the best possible wine, The Mute offers his Allamand H only on those vintages he considers outstanding. The Allamand H 2009 is a blend of 60% malbec from Fico Villafanes vineyard in Altamira, La Consulta and 40% cabernet sauvignon from the Calandria vineyard in El Peral, Tupungato. The wine was aged in new French oak for 12 months and spent 15 months in this bottle before being released to the market. Only 2,200 bottles produced.
