A couple rockin’ Syrahs from Cayuse Vineyards
Each year we cross our fingers and hope that we are lucky enough to score a few bottles of wine from Cayuse Vineyards. Cayuse produces some spectacular wines out of the Walla Walla Valley in Washington. They are best known for their incredible Syrah, but they also make some tasty wines of other varietals as well.
This year, we were lucky enough to continue the hot streak with the 2011 Cayuse En Chamberlin Syrah and the 2011 Cayuse Cailloux Vineyard Syrah. Speaking of hot streak, these wines have been receiving some top-notch reviews. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate is giving En Chamberlin 94-97+ points and Cailloux 95-98 points. Delicious.
