2008 Santa Ema Catalina

Santa Ema Catalina2008 Santa Ema Catalina

90 Points Wine Advocate – “The flagship 2008 Catalina is composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Carmenere, and 7% Cabernet Franc aged 14 months in new French oak. The fruit was sourced from low yields of only 1.6 tons per acre. Notions of pain grille, pencil lead, exotic spices, incense, black currant, and blackberry set the stage for a structured, plush, nicely proportioned Blend that will benefit from an additional 2-3 years of cellaring. It has a drinking window extending from 2014 to 2023.”

90 Points Wine Spectator – “Ripe, juicy and well-defined, featuring nicely integrated tobacco, roasted herb, black currant and cherry fruit, which carries through the sleek, mouthwatering finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2013. 600 cases imported.” Issue: Oct 15, 2011
