Jamsheed Garden Gully Syrah

Jamsheed Syrah Jamsheed Garden Gully Syrah

Fresh and vibrant, this features a crisp feel to the green leaf-scented blackberry flavors, dancing deftly onto the lively finish. The fruit lingers” – Wine Spectator

About The Wine: Handpicked from vines planted in the 1890’s in the Great Western region of Central Victoria. The Syrah vines are ‘Old Best’s’ clone on the ‘Concongella’ soil profile (clay over ironstone) and are fermented as 50% whole bunches with indigenous yeasts and 40 day extended maceration. No acid, enzymes or additives other than a small amount of sulphur dioxide was used in production. The wine is then racked to 1 and 2 year old hogsheads and puncheons and left sur lees for 10 months before being gravity racked and bottled unfined and unfiltered.”
