St. Bernardus Abt 12 – Jack Tipple’s Year of Beer Challenge Week 49
Dark with a full, ivory-colored head. It has a fruity aroma, full of complex flavors and excels because of its long bittersweet finish with a hoppy bite. It’s a very balanced beer, with a full-bodied taste and a perfect equilibrium between malty, bitter, and sweet. This beer is one of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren.
We at Tipple’s love to try new beers all the time and we’re sure that you do too. In honor of that we have designed a program to help you try new beer and perhaps revisit some old beers you haven’t had in quite a while. For Jack Tipple’s Year of Beer Challenge we will feature a different beer every week.
If you purchase that beer on the given week we will punch your card. Once you have completed 52 weeks of featured beers we will give you your choice of a Tipple’s Koozie or Tipple’s Pint glass and you will have your name added to our plaque on the wall and be immortalized in the annals of Tipple’s History.
