2013 Justin Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Clear with a dark ruby purple core lightening at the rim. Aromatic with ripe black cherry, blackcurrant and berry fruit with vanilla, cinnamon and subtle dried fall leaf accents. Classic cabernet with moderate plus blackcurrant and cherry fruit and baking spice flavors on the entry. Sweet tobacco and savory herbal notes arrive on the mid palate, along with beautifully balanced tannins that provide a structure that supports the wine through its perfectly balanced, clean finish.

At Justin, they combine traditional Old World methods—like hand-harvesting and small-barrel aging in French oak—with New World technology. For example: the “Air Knife,” an ingenious process invented by the winemakers, boosts grape quality and efficiency. Once the grapes are harvested, the Justin winemakers-some of the best in the business-gather to sort, select, age, taste, blend and decide what goes into every bottle.
