Winemaker’s Notes: Miraflors Rose offers lots of framboise, strawberry and rose petal characteristics in medium-bodied, juicy, gorgeously quaffable style. Named after an old estate located in the heart of Domaine Lafage, Mas Miraflors, the Miraflors Rosé is sourced from old vines of Grenache Gris, nearing 80 years old, planted near the Mediterranean. Added to this is some Mourvedre that Jean-Marc planted about 15 years ago. This a direct press rose with the color coming from the skins of the pink Grenache Gris berries, and naturally, from the much darker Mourvedre.

Winemaker’s Notes: The Catena Malbec Appellation La Consulta shows a dark violet color with deep purple tones. The nose offers aromas like red fruit and ripe, concentrated dark berries with fresh herbs and floral notes like lavender and violets, some traces of vanilla and tobacco. The mouthfeel is rich, with raspberries and blueberries, spices notes and a touch of mocha. The finish presents soft and well-structured tannins with bright, crisp acidity that gives the wine exceptional length.
91 Points Robert Parker: For now the whole appellation range comes from single vineyards, and the 2015 Appellation La Consulta Malbec is sourced from an old 25-hectare vineyard in the banks of the Tunuyan river in the higher part of La Consulta, very close to Altamira, where the soils have clay and boulders from the river. This part of the Valle de Uco in a cool vintage like 2015 produced a serious, cold Malbec, less expressive in the nose but with a mineral sensation and a palate where the tannins are extremely fine. It developed a note of graphite with time in the glass.
