Sixpoint Brewery Kold Schauer – JACK TIPPLE’S YEAR OF BEER CHALLENGE WEEK 4.30
KÖLD SCHAUER is a light, snappy, fresh Kölsch with with a distinctive honeydew melon aroma from Huell Melon hops. Huell Melon is particularly great in lighter styles… and the combination of the distinctive kölsch yeast, pilsner malts, and the complexity of Huell Melon hops is awesome. The Huell Melon hops are 100% sourced directly from Hopfengut farms in Tettnang, Germany. Our dude Lukas Locher runs this amazing farm over there, and they’re one of our best partners. We source all our Tettnanger hops for The Crisp from him, and actually get around 80% of his total crop each year!
We at Tipple’s love to try new beers all the time and we’re sure that you do too. In honor of that we are rolling out a new program to help you try new beer and perhaps revisit some old beers you haven’t had in quite a while. For Jack Tipple’s Year of Beer Challenge we will feature a different beer every week. If you purchase that beer on the given week we will punch your card. Once you have completed 52 non-consecutive weeks of featured beers we will give you a Tipple’s glass and you will have your name added to our plaque on the wall and be immortalized in the annals of Tipple’s History.
