Winemaker’s Notes: Light yellow color. Delicate and gentle nose of sweet field flowers: camomile, elder, iris. Minced palate with sweet almond aftertaste. Pairs well with risotto, white fish, and raw fish.
91 Points Vinous: Bright straw. Pear and apple on the fresh, deep nose. Then juicy with clean flavors of apple jelly, white stone fruit and minerals; has good weight and texture. Finishes clean, fresh and with a delightful crystalline quality. Very impressive.

Winemaker’s Notes: An exciting, innovative wine produced from a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Bonarda and uniquely dried and vinified in the Amarone style. The grapes that produce Milamore are sourced from 50+ years old vines located in three distinct high-altitude vineyards from the Mendoza region in Argentina. The grapes are dried on the vines (appassimento), until they loose 1/3 of their weight. After a prolonged fermentation (both alcoholic and malolactic) the wine is aged in new French barriques for 12 months.
Dark ruby red in color, Milamore offers supple aromas of ripe berries, raisin, and plums. Sensual notes of exotic spices, charcoal and chocolate are seamlessly layered with the fruit. Full bodied, rich and complex, with a long finish beautifully framed by fine-grained tannins. This is a very special wine that will surprise many wine lovers. Pair with semi soft cheese, dark chocolate, and pasta with mushroom sauce.
90 Points Vinous: Bright ruby-red. Medicinal black fruits and licorice on the nose. A bit sweet on entry, then surprisingly intense in the middle, with burnished blackberry and black cherry flavors shaped and extended by strong acidity. Firm tannins arrive late, allowing the finishing flavors to linger subtly. Nothing especially thick or overripe here.
