Winemaker Notes: Sourced primarily from the Red Hills district of Lake County. This unique growing region offers a relatively mild Mediterranean climate with predictable heating and cooling cycles and produces flavorful fruit with layers of agreeable acids and balanced tannins.
89 Point Wine Enthusiast: Fully ripe fruit flavors are accented by light toast and spice notes in this full-bodied and extremely smooth-textured wine. Dense ripe blackberry and dark chocolate flavors seem to coat the palate, and moderate tannins provide good grip.

South Africa – Walker Bay
Winemaker Notes: The 2018 shows more marked fruit aromatics than usual, while maintaining the typical Southern Right balance of Old World minerality and length with hints of New World palate coverage and body. A significant percentage of fruit from clay-rich soil has added an intense addition overall complexity to this wine.
90 Point Tim Atkin: The Southern Right Sauvignon comes from 16 different blocks in Walker Bay. Unwooded, it’s a sappy, saline, vinous white with dill and grapefruit flavors and a juicy, lip smacking finish.
