California – Monterey County
Winemaker Notes: The Monterey County Pinot Noir is aged using French and American oak but no ex-Bourbon barrels, owing to the “delicate nature” of the grape variety. Aromas of dark cherry and toasted oak with subtle Strawberry and herbaceous notes of rosemary. The wine opens up with earthy notes of dried herbs, plums and dried red fruits. Bright acidity focuses the fruit and helps create a long and generous finish.
