Dehesa La Granja 2011

Winemakers Notes: A true farm-to-table wine, the 2011 Dehesa La Granja is well-structured, potent, velvety, and fleshy wine in the mouth, boasting powerful, rounded tannins. It has subtle hints of ripe red berries with smooth, rounded balsamic notes and traces of smoky, toasted elements.

92 Points James Suckling: Big, ripe blackberry and smoky nose with hints of earth and caramel. A full-bodied red with plenty of positive, dry tannins. Pleasantly warm, but also fresh and animating, this is delicious now and should hold through at least 2021.

Kara-Tara Pinot Noir 2017
South Africa

Wine Maker’s Notes: Grapes are sourced from carefully-selected premium vineyards in the Elgin region. After being crushed into small open tanks, the must is cold-soaked for two days. 30% of the wine is fermented with whole clusters. Only French oak is used for aging, 10% of which is new. Kara-Tara Pinot Noir is an elegant, lightly-wooded style of Pinot Noir showing classic strawberry and red cherry notes coupled with a hint of spice. A firm, yet silky-smooth tannin structure supports the lovely bright fruit characteristics of the wine.

Coffee clouds may not be a historical beer, however, it is a great example of a coffee stout with an excellent balance of coffee and malt notes.

Talbott Kali Hart Pinot Noir 2017
California – Monterey

92 Point Robert Parker: The pale to medium ruby colored 2017 Pinot Noir Kali Hart was aged in 15% new oak. The nose offers cranberry jelly, red cherries, wood smoke, turned earth, tree bark and moss scents with notions of citrus peel and amaro. Medium-bodied, it’s ultra-silky in the mouth with great flavor intensity, walking a line between ripe fruits and earth character, with a gently grainy frame and great freshness, finishing lifted.

91 Points James Suckling: Deep and dark aromas and flavors of dried strawberries and cherries follow through to a full body, juicy fruit and a one-dimensional and fruity finish. Underlying, sold tannins

91 Points Wine Enthusiast: This bottling begins with aromas of cherry and berry along with wild mint and dried tarragon. Strong hits of licorice and star anise play well with the berry backdrop on the palate.

Winemakers Notes: The 2018 Kali Hart Chardonnay is the most fruit-forward in our portfolio. Grown in cool climates, Kali Hart is an exceptionally refreshing Chardonnay. Notes of ripe stone fruit and juicy tropical notes meet aromas of Madagascar vanilla for a bright mouthfeel straight through to the finish.

90 Points Wilfred Wong: The 2018 Talbot Kali Hart Chardonnay drinks long and easily. TASTING NOTES: This wine nicely combines ripe fruit with just the right amount of savory spices. Pair it with a lightly-spiced chicken stew.
