In 1978 he founded Europvin, a Bordeaux based negociant company , specialised in the export of top quality wines from all parts of France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. He “discovered” the Priorat in the early 1980′s and started exporting the wines from the only quality orientated estate in the area at the time, Celler Scala Dei.
Finding the right balance of aroma, hoppiness, and fullness of flavor is a mountain worth climbing. That’s what’s been done with Breck IPA. Scrutiny of ingredients and experimentation with process resulted in this yin and yang – distinctively pleasant floral aroma with crisp hop flavor that’s mellowed by Full Pint malt, a relatively new and unique malt variety. Join us for a beer tasting on Monday, September 14th at 7 pm as we taste through nine different barrel aged beers. The tasting will be held in class format and guided by the Bearded Taster, Andy Bielecki. Unfortunately this will be Andy’s last tasting with us. “The history of the Domaine begins in the 1880s with Frédéric Mugnier’s great-great-grandfather Francois who went by the name of Frédéric. He was born in 1826, and at the age of thirty, he established a very successful company based in Dijon that produced aperitifs, absinthes, cassis, liqueurs and aromatized wine.
Espectacle is the working result of an expert group in the world of wine, united by the common project to produce a unique wine, one that communicates the particularities of a centenary garnacha vineyard, in the area of Montsant.
